At the end of this summer we had a tast with my brother and we decided not to bottle this vintage of Empit Selecció 2010. For me 2010 vintage has not the great quality of the 2009 and 2011 vintages, so the Empit Selecció tank was mixed with Empit tank and increase the quality of Empit. Unfortunately this type of wine can not be made every year. The same case happened to us in the 2008 harvest. Maybe I am too demanding but I want the best quality for this kind of wine. I am sorry I hope than you understand the situation…
Es ist schade, aber ich denke, die beiden Brüder werden Ihre Gründe haben, dem Empit 2010 nicht durch den Selecció das Herz auszureißen. Ich habe die Vorbesteller bereits informiert und nehme den Wein nun leider aus der Liste. Warten wir also auf eine Jahrgang, der dem Empit wieder gewogener ist, so dass es ein bestes Fass davon geben kann.
